ZZAMPERLA NEW AQUA DIVISION

Zamperla is proud to announce a newly formed partnership with Jerry Pendleton, former president of O.D. Hopkins Associates, Inc. and SkyTrans Mfg., LLC. Mr. Pendleton has over 35 years of experience and is considered to be an expert in all aspects of water ride design, especially water flow.

The Shoot-the-Chute ride concept was originally conceived by Mr. Pendleton, and while many similar rides have been offered by other manufacturers, none have come close to matching the sheer power and presence that the original Shoot-the-Chute splash creates. To date, Mr. Pendleton has overseen the installation of over 60 Shoot-the-Chute rides around the world.

This partnership will allow Mr. Pendleton and SkyTrans to develop and comission new ride designs while Zamperla markets, manufactures, and serives such water attractions as Rapid Rivers, Log Flumes, and Shoot-the-Chute rides.

The Shoot-the-Chute is one of few rides that can be described as a spectacle. Essentially a 2 in 1 attraction, the Shoot-the-Chute offers entertainment for both riders and onlookers alike. Guests are seated in 12 or 20 passenger boats that drop into the splash pond creating a massive tidal wave of excitement, soaking riders to the bone. Zamperla will soon be introducing several standard layouts, including the all new 12 Meter Shoot-the-Chute.

The classic Log Flume is an all time family favorite. Four passenger boats carry riders along a winding ground level and elevated through culminating with a refreshing drop into the splash pool below. Several standard layouts are available or a customized ride can be designed to maximize presence and overall ride experience.

The Rapid River allows riders of all ages to experience the thrill of white water rafting as they challenge the rapids in eight passenger circular boats. Custom layouts can be created to take full advantage of any park's site requirements.

With Mr. Pendleton's vast experience in water ride design and Zamperla's extensive history of quality and innovation, there will be many future water based attractions on the horizon, all utilizing the vast resources of Mr. Pendleton, SkyTrans Mfg. and the experienced Zamperla organization.
